There are many people drawn to books as a way to find answers and I also have read many books that have helped me on my path. For me the confusion comes when the book is looked at as holding the answers rather than possessing the tools to find the answers. Books are written in the truth of the writer it is the writers perspective you read. Therefore rather than take the words written and make them your own truth it is better at least for me to take the words and work out my own truth. Words can be interpreted many different ways according to who is reading them and what their agenda is. For me I am open to everything I read I take it I process it I look at it as best I can from the perspective of who ever is writing and then I use it as a tool to help me find my own definition of what is being said. Which is what I hope you do with everything written on this site take the words read them find what resonates with you discard what doesn't and find your own truth. Books have always been a medium through which knowledge is been obtained. There are writers proclaiming to be able to fix your life in ninety days. There are self help books on every topic each professing to know the answers. The trick is to remember the author is writing the book from his/her own perspective and experiences. A good guideline for books is to only take from them what is relevant to your life situation and what feels right for you. Read a number of books on the same subject and by different authors and find out what common themes run through them all. Remember what works for one person may not necessarily work for another. When you are first beginning to find out who you are and what you want from life reading about other people's life experiences and struggles may give you a sense of belonging or a sense of purpose. You might even have a moment when the author becomes a mirror of your own life experiences. Books are personal what resonates with you may not with another person so I am not going to attempt to give my top 20 list or anything rather I am going to simply list books I have read books others have read and if you want to send me books you have read and a preview I will add them as well. It is all about building a knowledge base not telling people what to read but giving them some different options Words are indeed the Voice of the Heart Robin J

Born To Win by M James is a book that had a big impact on my life at a time I was struggling to understand my relationships with others and the patterns in my life. Worth a look!
For those of you interested in the spooky stuff go back to the original founders of the spiritualist movement people like Ursula Roberts or Edgar Cayce. It might surprise you how relevant their words are in today's society.
Even though 'The Dream Giver' has religious references and even though it is directed towards male female couples my partner and I found the concepts and premises extremely helpful. It starts like this Long ago and not so far away Ordinary a Nobody from the Land of the Familiar set out to follow his big dream. After an incredible journey he made it to the land of Promise and so on I love books that are simply to understand easy to read yet entertaining at the same time. This book makes you think about who are within your relationship and gives some wonderful insights into relationships
