| About readings and what to do after you receive yours An email reading involves tuning in or making a connection with a person through the words typed on page. The person asking for the reading is called the sitter the person performing the task a reader. There are many different ways to do a reading and many different outcomes that can arise. I start a reading with my own personal prayer to my higher power asking to be given the words for the sitter and I ask that those who wish to speak through me come in unconditional love, divine light and for the highest good. After lighting a candle I sit and visualize the room and the computer I am working on filling with white light. Then I begin the reading. |
| The first step is to make a connection through the words on the page I will read an email over and over again until I start to feel tuned in so to speak. I do not attempt to control the way the word’s come I simply write them as I hear them in my head there is no great magic to it. Sometimes my body will react to what a sitter is feeling or what they are struggling with. For example when my throat gets sore and tightens it often indicates the sitter is holding back not speaking their truth. When my chest gets heavy it usually means a lot of emotion being held in and when I feel I am being pulled back it could be a reference to past issues not resolved. So this one way I receive information. Occasionally I will be visited by people who have passed over who want to speak to the sitter. This begins with a visual image then the words come. Often I feel through my body how they passed this is a simply a means of validating who the person in spirit is. There will be times the sitter will not be able to place the person in spirit there are a number of reasons this may happen but when it does it is important not to discard the message they come with. Take the words as being for you and reflect upon them to see if they may have meaning for you. The third way I receive words is through my guides, your guides and Angels. Occasionally when the messages are coming very quickly I am not fast enough to put down who is speaking to me but I will make every attempt to ensure it is clear who wants you to know what. There are certain tool’s I use give the sitter a clearer picture of what the main points of the reading are. Firstly I pull a Totem Animal Card. From the Great Whale to the smallest Ant every animal has it’s own unique characteristics and lessons to bring to us. For example perhaps Bear will come to help you balance activity with rest. Next I will ask for an Angel to guide you. Angels are the messengers of the heavens they descend to Earth to bring us clarity, hope and purpose. Perhaps you need the Angel of Love to give you new eyes to see yourself. Lastly I will give you a set of affirmations for all areas of your life. The more we affirm the positive in our lives the more positive our lives become. When all of this is complete I will tie everything together in a section called “things to ponder”. The reason it is called this is because I do want to give you a map of how to live your life rather some insight and clarity so you find your own answers. What to do after you receive the reading Don’t try and understand everything in the reading in an hour it simply does not work that way. Read it through take a few things that stand out for you and reflect upon these. Then put the reading away and come back to it in a few days or a week and read it through again, chances are you will see it much differently than you did the first time. If anything said evokes a strong emotional reaction write it down and consider why it makes you feel so strongly maybe there are hidden feelings being touched by the words. Remember this is a two way process that involves you as well. Although I get the words the only person who can give them power and meaning is you. What is written is meant only for you and it is written in a certain way because the Angels, Guides, etc know how to say the words in a way That only you will understand. Again I am simply the messenger it is up to you whether the words will help you move forward in your journey. It is up to you to choose whether to build on what you get from the reading. YOU are the master of your own destiny. My wish for you is for the Angel of Confidence to guide you and give you trust and hope in the future. My wish for you is for your eyes to be open to the lesson’s gifts and wisdom Mother Earth places in your path in the form of a Totem animal. My affirmation for you is you are indeed not only worthy of being loved but you are loved as a divine child of the universe. |
